Tours and events at Lakewood Cemetery
Lakewood invites people to visit Lakewood to experience its beauty and learn about the history and art that is preserved here.
We offer a variety of free educational tours and events. Our most popular event is Memorial Day, an annual tradition at Lakewood. We also offer tours and a book about Lakewood’s history, art and gardens year-round (by appointment), historical exhibits, and sometimes host other events. You can also take a self-guided tour of Lakewood’s historic, Byzantine-style chapel. The chapel is available for weddings, as well as funeral services.
